Ingredients
  

  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 large garlic clove
  • 1 large shallot
  • teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 6 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons water

Method
 

  1. 1. Prepare the Ingredients
    Peel and chop the shallot and garlic clove for easier blending.
  2. 2. Combine Ingredients
    In a blender, add the black pepper, garlic, shallot, Dijon mustard, sea salt, sugar, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and water.
  3. 3. Blend Until Smooth
    Blend on medium to high speed for about 1-2 minutes until the mixture is completely smooth and emulsified.
  4. 4. Taste and Adjust
    Taste the vinaigrette and adjust the seasoning, adding more salt, sugar, or vinegar if desired.
